Sin and Grace : Sin #2 – Gluttony
…… Sin 2 – Gluttony
Gluttony is excessive and ongoing eating of food or drink. Temperance is used to curb gluttony by implanting the desire to be healthy.
Domina and her male sub were trying to deal with their past Christian hang ups and become more pagan in their thoughts. So they thought they’d do some work revolving around the sins.
Gluttony was their next sin.
Domina noticed that sub was eating too many sweets, one in particular. It was his fave dessert. Chocolate cake. It might have been ok normally. But it came in handy as their aim for the sins. So she decided to work with him on the cake.
Domina and sub decided the path of exporing this together. If sub wanted the cake, he had to eat it out of a dog bowl, with water in the other bowl. He would do this alone in the kitchen, while Domina had a healthier option in the study.
Or… sub could join Domina in the study and have the healthier option.
Domina was pretty sure which her sub would pick. She knew he loved his cake. The choices were stacked against her. Well maybe. Time would tell.
Sub chose the kitchen and dog bowls. And that was ok the first day, but he missed Domina. It was only for a few minutes. But the few minutes got longer. The cake didn’t taste as good out of a doggy dish.
Frankly, sub ate with his eyes too. The dog bowls just weren’t cutting it. And the yogurt and fruit option Domina was having was on bone china. Which she probably did just to make it pretty. Usually she ate it from a cereal bowl in the kitchen. He actually was regretting his choice. So he went with Domina the next night. They had a lovely chat and ate the healthier option. He kind of missed the cake, but not so much he wanted to miss out on the time with Domina.
Though it might have had something to do with the facts that he wasn’t really into being a pet or into punishment or shaming. More often than not, sub joined Domina for the healthier option. To the point where Domina let him eat the cake on a plate again, but still in the kitchen alone.
So it might work for him? But not every sub.
